When This Service May Fit

When Window Replacement Makes More Sense

Replacement may be the better option when damage affects the frame, fit or complete window rather than one repairable part. These are some of the conditions worth reviewing.

The Frame Is Deteriorating

Soft, swollen, cracked or visibly damaged frame material may no longer support a reliable component repair.

Water Keeps Returning

Repeated moisture around the same opening can involve the frame, perimeter sealing or surrounding wall materials.

The Window No Longer Fits Correctly

A unit that sits out of square, closes unevenly or will not lock properly may have a broader fit problem.

Several Older Windows Are Failing

Similar problems across multiple aging windows may make a coordinated replacement project more practical than separate repairs.

Installation Options

Insert or Full-Frame Replacement?

How much of the existing window stays in place depends on whether the surrounding frame is still secure and serviceable.

Insert Replacement

A new unit is installed within an existing frame that remains square, secure and free from significant deterioration. More of the current trim and surrounding finishes may be able to remain.

Full-Frame Replacement

The existing unit and frame are removed to expose the complete opening. This approach may be needed where the frame is damaged, out of square or affected by recurring water problems.

Made to Order

Built for Your Openings, and Quoted as One Number

Every window is manufactured to the measurements taken at your house rather than pulled from warehouse stock, so it sits in the opening the way it was designed to. Production starts once the order is placed, which is why the lead time runs four to twelve weeks. The quote is one number covering the whole project, from pulling the old windows out to the final walkthrough.

What the quote covers
  • Demolition and haul off. Every old window and all the debris leaves with us the same day.
  • Materials. Your windows and everything that seals them.
  • Labor. Installation, general contractor oversight, quality control, site clean-up and a final walkthrough with you.
  • Permit. We file it and manage the inspection process with the county.
  • Any applicable taxes. Already in the number.
  • Lifetime warranty. On the windows themselves, plus a separate lifetime warranty on our labor.

Your Window Quote

What Shapes Your Window Replacement Quote

The quote should reflect both the selected windows and the work needed at each opening. These are the main details that shape the project scope.

Windows Being Replaced

The number, size, style and location of the windows affect the products, handling and work involved.

Condition of the Openings

Frame deterioration, water damage or an opening that is out of square can require additional preparation.

Installation Method

Insert and full-frame replacement involve different levels of removal, preparation and finishing work.

Trim and Access

Interior trim, exterior finishes and access to each opening can affect how the installation is completed.

The proposed scope should identify what is included and explain how hidden damage would be handled if it is found after removal.

Common Questions

Window Installation & Replacement FAQs

It may be possible to divide a larger project into phases. Product availability, matching frame colors, glass packages and the condition of the remaining windows should be considered before the first phase begins.

Sometimes. Insert replacement may allow more of the existing trim to remain, while full-frame work can require trim removal to reach the complete opening. The current installation and frame condition determine what can stay.

Damage that was hidden behind the existing frame can change the preparation or repair work required. Any change to the original scope should be explained before additional work proceeds.

The estimate should identify the proposed product, glass package, number of openings, installation method and major inclusions or exclusions. This makes it easier to understand and compare the proposed work.

Replacement windows require a permit. We file it and handle the inspection. It isn’t something you deal with or pay for separately, since it’s already in the number we quoted you.

Plan on four to twelve weeks. Each unit is manufactured to your measurements, shipped to us, and inspected here before it ever goes on the truck. Install day itself usually runs one to two days for a full home.
